Less Weight More Scales, Tel Aviv

The exhibition avoided the documentation of work through elaborate presentation models and pictures. Nothing on display was to be repackaged and shipped to another venue after the exhibition. Projects ranging in scale from culinary products to public buildings were scaled down to a series of almost evenly sized models. As abstract monochromatic objects, they allowed for many interpretations of the work. The space itself was lined with a working drawing from the Utrecht University Library, at a scale of 1:2. The drawing not only provided the layout for the exhibition, but also formed a second topology alongside the original. Four videos on LCD screens provided visitors with an outlook on Utrecht University Library, and other works of the studio, in their everyday use.
